58,320 names on a wall. 58,320 men who gave their lives during the Vietnam War. Now The Wall That Heals travels around the country to bring peace and closure to the veterans who returned home, and the families of those who did not. The traveling memorial is a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. and stands at 7.5 feet high and 375 feet in length. The wall is at Randall Oaks Park from July 4th to July 7th and opens for visitation 24 hours a day.

BGCDT Club members were cheering on the sidelines as the memorial passed through Carpentersville. Some of our Image Makers even photographed the arrival. BGCDT would like to formally thank all those who are currently serving and those who have served our country. It is truly because of all that you have sacrificed that we can live in a country where we can have the freedom that we do today.
