Summer Explorers with our program partner, Friends of the Fox

Our summer explorers participated in a hands-on educational experience with Friends of the Fox at a nearby creek. They learned all about biodiversity and looked for as many living things in the creek. Each week during this summer Friends of the Fox volunteer at each of our elementary Club sites to bring fun and educational activities and programs to our members as well as coordinate fun field trips that get them outside.

“The purpose of this program is to get kids off the computer because they have been stuck on them all year long. We want them to explore nature through fun activities.”
-Jenni Schiavone, Friends of the Fox
Friends of the Fox is an organization that helps keep Fox River clean by providing educational programs to volunteers and anyone else in the community that wants to help keep the lake clean. We would like to thank Friends Of the Fox for volunteering their time to show our members how important and fun nature can be!
