Our Teen Center members that are involved in our tech programs had the fun opportunity to make vinyl decals at the local library! They used a special software called Silhouette Studio. The members learned how to use different coloring and layering with multiple sheets.

Once they completed their designs they used what is called a silhouette cameo cutting machine. They used special tools like a cutting mat to cut the vinyl or cardstock. They also learned how to use heat transfer vinyls. This allows them to make iron ons for t-shirts or tote bags. Members created different of designs for their cell phones, mugs, and notebooks.
The members had an excellent time gaining experience with this type of software and tools. A special thank you is in order for Erica and Danielle at the Fox River Valley Library for their willingness to make time for our members to teach them these new skills.
