BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF DUNDEE TOWNSHIP ANNOUNCES
DREW GLASSFORD AS THE NEW CEO
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township (BGCDT) announced today that Andrew (“Drew”) Glassford is their next Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Glassford joins BGCDT after a successful corporate and non-profit career. He has served in significant leadership roles within the non-profit industry serving youth in our community and brings significant development and management talent to BGCDT. One of the areas of focus for Mr. Glassford will be BGCDT’s expansion of teen services, including greater reach of their workforce development program.
Most recently, Mr. Glassford was the Director of Strategic Initiatives with Boy Scouts of America. At Boy Scouts, Drew was the staff advisor to the National Foundation STEM Advisory Committee (which includes over 60 national advisory committee members). Mr. Glassford helped develop and implement Boys Scouts’ STEM workforce development skills partnership with business leaders, community colleges and technology leaders.
Before joining Boy Scouts, Mr. Glassford was the Executive Director of Turning Pointe Autism Foundation in Naperville, non-profit serving children with autism and their parents. Mr. Glassford also has vast experience in the real estate development and construction management industry.

Our Clubs are strong and effective. Drew will ensure that they not only continue but thrive as we serve the kids who need us the most.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township is one of the largest Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in the state of Illinois serving nearly 3,000 Club members throughout the year with afterschool programming, summer programs, and athletic leagues. BGCDT has been serving the community for 22 years and operates in seven community schools within District 300 and 220 with a Teen Center in Carpentersville, Illinois.
For only $25 a school year, BGCDT members receive homework help, tutoring, a daily snack and hot dinner, and participation in enrichment programs. These programs are in the core areas of education and career development, character and leadership, health and life skills, sports, fitness and recreation and the arts. All of these services are provided in a safe and fun environment in which the children thrive.
