Make a difference day is a day in which people can volunteer in their communities. It’s an excellent way to get involved in your community and make a difference. You could also hold different fundraisers. This year Merrill Edge sent twenty of their team members to volunteer at Liberty, our summer elementary site. Merrill Edge is an online discount brokerage service and is part of Bank Of America’s retail banking division.
Both our club kids as well as the volunteers had a lot of fun! The Merrill Edge volunteers were divided into two different groups. One group ran a water game competition while the other group made space rocks. Volunteers were able to get to know the kids and participate in various activities. It was a great way for the company to give back to the community through our organization. Thank you Merrill Edge for choosing BGCDT for Make A Difference Day.
