On Thursday April 5th Cheryl Wendell came and spoke to our Teen Center Club members. She is part of the BGCDT program committee and works for Arbonne Company. She spoke to the Teens about then finding passion in their ideas and goals even if friends and others don’t think its a good idea. Cheryl continued with topics such as empowerment and becoming leaders. Opting out of reading books, she instead will show videos of encouragement. The video she chose for our members was done by: Carrie Underwood called “The Champion.” Bgcdt would like to thank Cheryl for taking the time to help us continue our mission of empowering our future great leaders.
