BGCDT staff had an amazing opportunity to attend the Global Leadership Summit (GLS), a two day event held Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington. The GLS provides participants a unique blend of vision, inspiration and practical skills. Over the two days we heard from many speakers including Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, Marcus Lemonis, star of “The Profit,” Bryan Stevenson, Founder & Executive Director of Equal Justice Initiative, Laszlo Bock, Senior Advisor at Google and many more great speakers. BGCDT staff took what they learned from the conference, to enhance what we already do at our club sites every day. Part of our mission is to create great leaders within our community, and the GLS helps us in fulfilling that mission. Special recognition goes out Lundstrom Insurance for introducing BGCDT to the GLS experience and assisting us in acquiring these highly sought after tickets.
