In February Carpentersville McDonalds held a Re-Grand Opening of it’s Carpentersville location. McDonalds first started serving burgers at this location in 1961, back then a customer could get the “All American Meal” which consisted of a burger, a fry, and a milkshake for just 45 cents. Now the new modern McDonalds which is one of the highest volume McDonalds franchises in the area has touch screen ordering, and a brand new kids area. Part of the re-grand opening included a donation of $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township. “Being able to give back to the community is very special to us” said Elva Bahena General Manager.
