Our board member Blair Motl of Motl Accounting was extremely generous and took our teen members on a tour of his family owned company.
Motl Accounting is a family owned accounting company that focuses on helping small businesses.
The day started off with a tour and information about the company itself. After spending time with each member and learning about their interests and goals, the members took on a roll playing activity.
The members created an athletic apparel company. They took on roles such as CEO, Product Manager, Business Manager, Human Resources, Promoter, Tailor, and Designer. The purpose of this activity was to help the members understand the importance of each job in a company.
