Drew Glassford, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township discusses the future of our Club.

Brief History
BGCDT opened its doors on January 13th, 1997 to offer a safe place for members after school.
Nourishing Character, Inspiring Potential
From community stabilization to college and career readiness, the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township (BGCDT) is to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
For 25 years, BGCDT has filled the gap between school and home for working families across the northwest suburbs. Our Club provides over 1,000 elementary, middle, and high-school youth each year with access to touring, mentorship, health and wellness programs, and leadership opportunities.
Our premier Club experience not only enables youth to achieve positive outcomes but also positively impacts the communities we serve:
- 94% of Club members reported making positive, responsible choices
- 93% expected to graduate from high school
- 92% considered themselves leaders
- 82% believed they would graduate from college or trade school
The Future of BGCDT
Since its opening in 2020, our high school Impact Center in Carpentersville has provided afterschool programming for over 100 Club members per day.
Preparing families and youth for a successful launch is the Impact Center’s primary goal. Our Club to Career Pathway Plan. The Impact Center also partners with businesses and our communities to offer skills training, guest speakers, facility tours, internships, and summer job opportunities. We are proud of the future leaders that leave our Club ready to contribute to our communities.
