Once again the the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township held it’s Tennies & Ties Gala at historic OTTO building, with the theme “50’s Hollywood Glam” on Veterans Day. The nearly 400 guests were treated to the BGCDT Color Guard presenting our Nations colors and a incredible rendition of “God Bless America”by our very own Blue Voices Choir. The night was filled with a lot of bidding on both silent and live auction items as well as emotion.  There was a special time of recognition for the brave individuals,  current and former, who have defended our country so proudly.  The guests also had the opportunity to hear from four Club Alumni about the termendous impact the club had on their lives.  The audiance were so moved that the club raised over $300,000 that night to be used for direct services for the over 1,800 club members that we serve annually.
