Every day, individuals like you make a positive impact on the lives of the local youth at our Club sites across Carpentersville. There are several ways to get involved, like providing academic support, coaching sports, tutoring members, mentoring teens at the Impact Center, and more!
Volunteer Opportunities
Provide academic support such as tutoring, homework help, reading & math remediation, & learning games/activities during PowerHour. Assist high school members with college and career readiness through ACT/SAT prep, resume writing, submission of college applications and scholarships, etc.
Lead our sports teams to victory! (Basketball, First Tee Golf, Flag Football, Floor Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball) Availability dependant on sports in season.
Help members learn to express themselves and spark creativity by sharing unique experiences through painting/drawing, photography, woodworking, dance, and much more!
Host a presentation featuring key topics such as job readiness, financial literacy, career opportunities within the community, etc.
Support our staff in the daily operations of member experiences. This may include homework help, assisting staff with experiences, monitoring outdoor and gym activities, etc.
Do you have a special skill like knitting, graphic design, speaking a second language, etc.? Come share your skills with our members through a workshop!
Healthy Habits – Provide culinary experiences and teach our members all about healthy eating and nutrition.
Character Development – Host discussions about social, emotional, and mental health support, bullying, drug usage, and hygiene.
Triple Play – Assist with outdoor or gym activities that promote basic movement skills and overall fitness.
