We are thrilled to announce that during our You Belong in STEM Roundtable on Friday, January 20th, we were honored with a $2 million dollar grant from Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi for our new Woodlands Impact Center! "Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township's new Woodlands Impact Center will make an enormous difference in the lives of local middle and high school students through afterschool and summer programs, and I'm proud to have aided those efforts by securing $2,000,000 in federal funding for this important program," said Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi.

Our You Belong in STEM Roundtable was a huge success and featured inspiring speeches from retired astronaut Col. Greg Johnson, Ted Wells from STEM Connector, as well as our CEO Drew Glassford and our SEL Director Mallory Namoff. It was an amazing opportunity to build a culture of belonging among our students and enhance their growth mindset. We can't wait to see the positive impact this funding will have on our community!

At Club, we do our best to ensure we are helping our members make healthy choices that help them lead better lives. The Lake in the Hills Police Department stopped by our Lake in the Hills site to talk to our members about nicotine and its lasting effects on their bodies. Thank you to our officer Sgt. Carson and his team for coming out and speaking with our members. They had a lot of fun and gained a lot of helpful information. ... See MoreSee Less

You guys are so amazing with the kids! 🥰

Meet Mallory, our Director of Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

"I love that when I go to work each morning, I am working not only to help make the lives of our members better, but also their families, our staff, and the community. I'm working for a place that allows children to feel safe, seen, and heard. Club provides youth with a deep sense of belonging they might not have elsewhere. My hope is that the SEL program can build on this and help children become more self-aware as well as socially aware. I want to help them build healthy relationships and develop skills to make healthy life decisions throughout their lives."
