WELCOME: Please welcome Michele Clark, our new Director of Primary Operations at BGCDT. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Dundee Township is pleased to announce that Michele Clark is joining our Executive Leadership Team as Director of Primary Operations. Michele brings a diverse and successful background of corporate, entrepreneurial, and youth development experience, most recently serving as the CEO of The Goddard School in Lake-in-the-Hills for eleven years. In her new role, Michele will be managing operations of the BGCDT elementary school programs and staff, with an emphasis on further developing and improving our 21st Century Learning Center school district partnerships and outcomes by focusing on staff development and improving academic and social-emotional supports for our members. Our Impact members just wrapped up their five-week Essential Skills virtual program. The members were mentored by Zurich employees and learned about time management, goals, applications, and met individually to discuss topics about themselves. Our members at the Impact Center have been going to the homes of our community’s seniors. They have been doing yard work and basic home repairs. One community members, Sandy Kovacs, recently spoke to us, saying, “The group has helped me so much. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the yard work, and I probably wouldn’t be able to stay in my home. I raised my family here and would have been devastated if I had to leave it. Thank you so much.” Our teens are helping others, but this would never have been possible without you.
