🌟🩰 Our Sunny Hill Club just wrapped up an amazing dance program with the Barrington Dance Ensemble! 📚🕺🏼💃 K-1st grade members rocked this 8-week adventure, reading the Wizard of Oz book and mastering awesome choreography. 🌈✨ We had a total of 18 participants, and they recently blew us away with their performance of "Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Sunny Hill" dance! 🌟💛

We know the challenges you face raising your children as a hard working single mom, just like my mom, and are honored to be able to be there for your family. I really appreciated your thoughts about our Junior Leader program, and how "BGCDT is not just taking care of our kids after school, they are helping develop them to become our next generation". It is very heartening to our team and our community partners, especially School District 15 who has been so supportive of us, to know you are seeing the difference we are making. All 9 of our elementary site 5th graders were invited, and they had an absolute blast at this celebration dance. 🎉🎈🥳 Members enjoyed engaging in fun activities, games, pinatas, and non-stop dancing. We couldn't be more proud of their accomplishments, and we're eagerly anticipating what the future holds for these remarkable 5th graders. 🎉🎈💃🎊🌟👏

During the presentation, our amazing Impact Center members discussed with Family Dollar that they will advocate for positive change in our community through this incredible partnership. Members are ready for a journey of empowerment and making a difference together as they will focus on mental health & awareness!

🚀 We had an incredible time at the STEM expo last week! 🔧🔬 Our Impact Center team was thrilled to participate in the event held at Harper College in Palatine.
Our staff participated and set up a soldering booth where over 40 middle and high schoolers tried their hands at soldering a vibrating jitterbug that also lit up. These amazing devices took about 30 minutes to complete, and each student got to take their very own home!
