Jon Nawrocki has dedicated his life to being a positive influence while working towards improving the lives of youth and young adults. With over fifteen years in the development, training, and growth of the community, he has gained the tools needed for him to be an effective mentor. He discovered a passion for helping others while working at Resurrection Center of Crystal Lake. He led retreats for groups of kindergarteners through the age of young adults. In his time at Resurrection Center, he also conducted mentoring sessions for small and large groups and helped others learn and build relationships through team building.
Jon then began running day and weekend camps for at-risk youth, volunteering with the Appalachia Service Project on mission trips, and donating his time at many local non-profits. Throughout the years, Jon has made an impact in people’s lives by building positive relationships, being a person others could turn to for advice or encouragement, and providing a fun atmosphere for learning. His philosophy is creating a standard where the focus is on discovering one’s full potential, the empowerment of education, and finding their passion.
