Program Testimonials

I’ve had the privilege of coaching with BGCDT for the past 14 years, overseeing basketball, football, and soccer programs. Over the years, I’ve grown to love coaching and working with the kids. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness their growth and passion for the game. Many of the kids I’ve coached have gone on to excel in high school, travel sports, and AAU basketball. They consistently serve as outstanding role models within the club, demonstrating exceptional teamwork, behavior, and all-around contributions. Coaching with BGCDT has truly been a rewarding experience.

Athletics Coach

Keith Gutierrez

As a 10th-grade member with eight years of experience in BGCDT’s athletics programs, I can’t emphasize enough how incredible the sports programs have been. I’ve had the privilege of participating in both soccer and basketball, but my heart belongs to soccer. The experience and opportunities I’ve had with the Boys and Girls Club in soccer have been unforgettable.

Through these sports programs, I’ve learned the true value of leadership, professionalism, and coachability. It’s not just about playing the game; it’s about developing as a person. BGCDT’s sports programs have played a significant role in shaping me into the person I am today.

Imanol S.

The BGCDT sports program has been invaluable for my children, teaching them vital life skills like accountability, dedication, leadership, teamwork, self-esteem, commitment, and self-discipline.

What truly sets BGCDT’s program apart is its affordability and convenience. Since kindergarten and second grade, my children have exclusively participated in BGCDT’s Basketball, Flag Football, and Soccer programs. This accessibility has been a blessing for our family, ensuring all our children can be part of sports, and the proximity of practices and games to our home has made the experience even more enjoyable.
