BGCDT “Twin Day” – Golfview Elementary Club Unit

 

One of the most creative programs offered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township is our annual “Twin Day”.  Club members are encouraged to dress like the Staff and the Club members actually vote on the best “Twin Day” matches!  The Club Members and Staff both work together and really get into “character” for this special day.

BGCDT Celebrates Carpentersville Fire Dept. 100 Year Anniversary

 

On Saturday, Sept. 19th the Carpentersville Fire Department celebrated their 100th Anniversary with a parade, barbeque and Open House at Fire Station 91.  As a proud community partner, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township participated in the parade, as our Club members eagerly distributed candy and treats to parade viewers.  A special appearance by the BGCDT Club Mascot, “Percy”, highlighted the morning parade!

Short Bio:  I’ve been working with the organization for about 7 years.  I am a single mother of a three year old, named Ty.  I enjoy spending time with him as much as possible.  I am very family oriented and am always in their presence.  One of my favorite things to do would be to go camping and eat camp fire foods.  My son and I are big fans of Curious George and collect everything Curious George.
 

SAGE Supports Back to School Supply Drive for BGCDT

 

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township kicked off a brand new school year on Tuesday, August 18th.  Nearly 1,000 Club members greeted our staff that first day with smiles, hope and anticipation for an exciting school year, however many of our Club members come to us armed with little supplies for the new school year, often missing the most basic of school supplies.
